Tayla Cecere has been performing from a young age, with a background spanning dance, theatre, television and screen acting. Encouraged to pursue her passion through school drama and private acting tuition, she went on to study at the Flinders Drama Centre, where she further developed her craft across a diverse range of classical and contemporary productions.
During her training, Tayla performed in Spring Awakening, 100 Reasons for War, Caucasian Chalk Circle, Autobahn, The Literati, Blood Wedding and Coming of Age in the 21st Century, working with directors including Rosalba Clemente, Renato Musolino, Anthony Nicola, Tiffany Lyndall-Knight, Hew Parham and Glenda Linscott.
While her stage experience is extensive, Tayla's true passion lies in screen acting. First introduced to the industry through a Radio Rentals commercial in 2017, she has since appeared in a number of short films including Edward Has a Tree Inside Him, The Sixth Sense, Nobody Panic, the award-winning The Acid Queen and AVA.
With a natural screen presence and a genuine love of character-driven storytelling, Tayla continues to build her career across film and television.
