Philippos Ziakas is a Greek-Australian actor and filmmaker based in Adelaide. A graduate of the Flinders Drama Centre, he completed a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Honours) in Acting in 2017.
Philippos made his professional theatre debut as Yianni in Elena Carapetis' The Gods of Strangers for State Theatre Company South Australia, directed by Geordie Brookman. The multilingual production saw Philippos perform in both English and Greek. His screen credits include the ABC drama Stateless, directed by Jocelyn Moorhouse.
Alongside acting, Philippos works as a filmmaker and has developed projects both in front of and behind the camera. He wrote, produced, co-directed and performed in the short film Hope, extending his creative practice beyond performance into filmmaking.
